A Surrey man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman at a West Kelowna hotel.
A Surrey man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman at a West Kelowna hotel.
Last Sunday at 7:18 p.m, police attended a hotel on Carrington Road in West Kelowna after being notified that a woman may be in need of assistance.
Upon attendance, police located a deceased woman in a hotel room. A man was arrested a short distance from the hotel and is in police custody.
Tejwant Danjou, 69, has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the woman's death.
The man and woman were known to each other and were from Surrey.
The Southeast District Major Crime Unit have taken conduct of the investigation and no further information is available at this time.
