Parkinson Rec Centre pools closing for maintenance
The swimming pools and aquatic area, including whirlpool and steam room, at Parkinson Recreation Centre will be closed for annual maintenance and cleaning from Monday, Aug. 27 to Saturday, Sept. 15. They’ll re-open Sunday, Sept. 16.
In addition to the pool closure, no drop-in basketball or volleyball will be available from Tuesday, Sept. 4 to Friday, Sept. 14 for gymnasium maintenance at Parkinson Rec Centre.
Pass holders will automatically have the missed time due to the closure added to their pass.
Annual maintenance closures are necessary in order to maintain a clean and safe facility.
