Conor Richard and Isaac Wegner impressed during win over Langley Rams
The Players of the Week have been announced for week 5 of the BCFC season.
Linebacker Conor Richard and Special Team’s Isaac Wegner took home the honor following the Sun’s 21-13 win over the Langley Rams.
Richard hit 4 tackles and 2 sacks, making plays all over the field, while Wegner helped put a dent in the Ram’s offence with his strong punting game, earning 15 of the Sun’s 21 points in that game.
In other action, the Valley Huskers won 37 to 17 over the Kamloops Broncos, and the VI Raiders dominated the Westshore Rebels 33 to 7.
Following a bye week, the Sun return to action on Saturday, September 8th, when they host the Rams.
