You can help out Kelownas Santa Tom

A couple of fundraisers have been organized

There a couple of ways you can help Kelowna's Santa Tom Kliner, who was badly injured in a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

Jason Boyer, the owner of the XChange Landmark, says they're holding an event this Saturday.

"A friend of mine, Bernie Ryan and I, decided we would try and help him out and raise some money, because a lot of people wanted to know how they can help and how they can give, so we thought we'd host a fundraiser and get together at the XChange – and hopefully raise some money – and the response has been kind of overwhelming actually," he says.

Boyer says so far 70 have confirmed – and another 300 are interested.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up to raise money for Santa Tom – who Boyer says is still likely too banged up to attend.

The crash left Kliner with cuts and bruises, cracked vertebrae in his neck – and a broken bone in his foot.
