The Okanagan Rail Trail officially opens tomorrow. You'll be able to go for a walk and you'll be able to take your dog. Here are the rules. Leashes, good doggy manners, doggy bags and please use garbage cans along the route.
Keith Pinkoski is Manager – Parks for the Regional District North Okanagan. He says they've done everything they can now it's the responsibility of trail users. He says bylaws will be enforced with a maximum fine of two thousand dollars.
If you're interested, the public is welcome to join the celebration at the Okanagan Rail Trail official opening, Thursday September 27, 11 am, at Oyama Boat Launch.
