Her last year was a record year
It was Maxine DeHart's 20th and final Drive Thru Breakfast for the United Way. To say it was a smashing success is a total understatement. The October 11th event raised more than $110,000 and counting. It's at least double the previous record. Maxine is elated to say the least. Contributing to that big number was a $20,000 donation from local philanthropist Tom Budd – and an additional $20,000 from an anonymous donor.
Over the years, Max's event has raised more than $750,000.
