Alberta man injured
Central Okanagan Search & Rescue crews were called out a second time on Saturday. After helping a woman, who broke her ankle hiking on Pincushion Mountain near Peachland, they rescued a man who injured his knee near Bear Creek Main.
Officials say a group of off-road motorcyclists from Alberta were riding the Bear Creek motorcycle trails when one of the riders fell on a steep slope. The 47-year-old couldn't ride or walk out, so COSAR members stabilized his leg and brought him down to a waiting ambulance.
