Kelowna RCMP have been busy lately

Stolen vehicles and a commercial BE on the list

Local mounties have been busy lately.

On Monday morning (Oct 15) – Lake Country RCMP found a stolen truck, trailer and excavator crashed into the north bound centre median on Highway 97 just south of Oyama.

All three vehicles had to be towed – and the investigation is ongoing. 

Early Tuesday morning (Oct 16) – Kelowna RCMP arrested a man near Moss Court, just east of Spall, after a break-in at a commercial property. Another suspect managed to escape on foot.

A 39-year-old Prince George man, wanted on several oustanding warrants, faces charges.  

And police are also looking for the rightful owner of a dirt bike found abandoned last Monday, October 8th, in Kelowna.

The red and white Kaishan bike, was left running, on a Francis Avenue property – and RCMP are now looking for the rightful owner.
