West Kelowna charity finds cash in clothing
Here's another story about cash found hidden in a donated item.
West Kelowna RCMP are looking to reunite some money with its rightful owner after a local charity found the cash, and an old debit card, inside a donated article of clothing – unfortunately there was no name on the bank card.
Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says a check with the bank also came up negative.
If you can describe the donated clothing item to police, identify the total amount of cash left inside – and confirm both the name of the bank, and number on the expired bank card – the money is yours.
The owner or anyone with any information is asked to call the West Kelowna RCMP Detachment’s non-emergency line at 250-768-2880 and cite file number 2018-36164.
Earlier this month – a Kelowna man was reunited with around a thousand dollars – after a local charity discoverd the money inside a donated item.
