Church being renovated catches fire
A church being renovated caught fire overnight in West Kelowna.
Fire crews were called to Glenway Road where they found smoke, and a smouldering fire, in the attic insulation.
Assistant Chief Chad Gartrell says several roof trusses were also burned through.
Investigators will be out later today to determine the cause – which is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
