Pilot project offers charging at Mission Creek and Gellatly Nut Farm.
Visitors at two regional parks in the Central Okanagan can now recharge their mobile devices.
Charging stations are located at Mission Creek and the Gellatly Nut Farm.
"It is basically a solar powered recharging station for mobile devices, tablets and that type of thing. All you have to do is bring along your USB cable and you can plug it in to the charger and charge your phone while enjoying the regional park".
The Regional District's Bruce Smith says the two month pilot project was the vision of students at Enactus Okanagan College.
