Gordon Drive and KLO Road up next for repaving

Work starts next week

Throughout the month of July, motorists can expect traffic interruptions on sections of Gordon Drive and KLO Road while City crews complete road repair and maintenance work.

Road milling and paving will occur on a section of Gordon Drive, between Springfield and KLO roads, and on KLO Road between Gordon Drive and Benvoulin Road. While work is underway, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Where work is in progress, short-term lane closures or detours will be in effect. For public safety and quality control, traffic control personnel will direct motorists and local residents to temporarily stay off newly paved road segments.

The work is part of the City’s $3.5 million annual pavement management program, which by October 2019 will see approximately 40 lane kilometres of roads re-paved.
