Suspect spits in womans face as she attempts to intervene.
Another BC Transit bus driver has been assaulted….this one in the North Okanagan.
A 59 year old man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an assault at the Vernon bus transit station this morning.
The driver exited his bus to inform a man that he wasn't allowed to smoke near the building.
While approaching the suspect, he was grabbed and physically assaulted.
The man then spat on a woman who attempted to intervene in the assault.
A 24 year-old was arrested without incident.
