As early as Monday, September 30, the City will begin installing two new playgrounds in West Kelowna.
Shannon Woods Park in the Shannon Lake Neighbourhood and McIver Park in the Glen Eagles area of the Glenrosa Neighbourhood will soon have new playground equipment including swings, slides, monkey bars, climbing features and more!
Work on both playgrounds is expected to be complete by mid-November.
Some temporary closures of sections of these parks may be required as the construction is underway.
The playgrounds will cost approximately $165,000.
