Westbank First Nation has announced that it will be closed to visitors until further notice.
Among the facilities off-limits are the youth centre, the elders hall and the child development centre.
Chief Christopher Derickson is quoted in a press release encouraging all members to do their part in looking after the community and emphasized the importance of caring for the elderly and other vulnerable individuals.
