A wildfire broke out around 9 this morinng above Highway 97 at Antlers Beach in Peachland.
The highway is closed. The lineup of traffic is long. We have no word on a time frame.
Helicopters are now working the flames as are ground crews.
Flames apparently spread quickly and headed up the hill.
We'll have more information when available.
