Kelowna-Mission MLA Renee Merrifield has been named Caucus Whip for the BC United Party, who will sserve as the official opposition inm this spring's Provincial Legislature.
The announcement was made yesterday by Party Leader Kevin Falcon.
Merrifield first assumed office in 2020 and was ran for the party leadership post in 2022.
She also serves as the Official Opposition Critic for Environment & Climate Change, Technology & Innovation, and Citizens’ Services
Merrifield replaces Columbia River-Revelstoke MLA Doug Clovechok as whip.
