Warriors drop final road game of regular season in Salmon Arm

Despite opening the scoring early in the first period, the Warriors dropped the penultimate game of the regular season, and the final road game of the campaign 3-1 to the Silverbacks at Rogers Rink in Salmon Arm.

The Warriors opened the scoring two and a half minutes into the first period, as Jack Sadowski was able to bank his first career BCHL goal in off the skate of a defender to open the scoring.  Riley Ashe would answer back for Salmon Arm, just as a Warriors penalty was expiring to  tie the game up.

After a scoreless middle frame, the Silverback took their first lead of the game, as Ben MacBeath was able to sneak behind the defenders and beat Bor Glavic stickside to give the ‘Backs a 2-1 lead.  Easton Walos would add a late powerplay goal for Salmon Arm to give the home team a 3-1 win.
