First responders to compete for mental health

Come out and celebrate Mental Health Week by joining the City’s first responders at Stuart Park on Thursday – May 8th, and cheer Fire, RCMP, Emergency Health Services, and Bylaw Services teams as they compete head-to-head in the 3rd annual First Responders Mental Health Games.

Date: Thursday, May 8

Time: 9 a.m. to noon

Location: Stuart Park (Ice Rink) – 1430 Water Street

This year, the City is hosting this event, which is open to the public for the first time! Come out and cheer the city’s first responders as they compete in fun, friendly games that celebrate mental health, and draw attention to the importance of well-being for all.

Explore the City’s emergency service vehicles, engage with our first responders at information booths, and meet your favourite safety mascots. Whether you’re cheering or just stopping by to show your support for mental wellness, gather to celebrate the strength, resilience, and mental well-being of those who are working together to keep Kelowna safe every day.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the city’s first responders in action and find out who will be crowned this year’s Mental Health Games champions.
