Penticton’s Youth Park will host a skateboarding event on Tuesday, May 20, which is open to competitors and public viewing.
All skateboarders are invited to participate in the Riverside Ramp Rage event, featuring competitions, a skate jam, local vendors and prizes from 5-8 p.m.
Since this is an organized event, the City is notifying the public that the park will be closed starting at 3 p.m. to allow for setup – and that the park will not be available to any skateboarders who are not participating in the event.
Anyone interested in competing can register on-site on the day.
The Youth Park is considered one of the largest in B.C., now stadium lighting that allows for usage all months of the year. For more information about the park, visit penticton.ca/youth-park.
