Scooter collision suspect still wanted: New photos released by police

On April 6, 2025 at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Kelowna RCMP responded to a collision between two motorized kick scooter riders in the 800-block of Ellis Street.

One male sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital while the other rider departed prior to police attendance.

At the time of the initial news release, the Kelowna RCMP provided the description of the unidentified rider believing him to be a male, slim, shorter in stature, wearing a helmet, and camouflage jacket, and riding a black and orange scooter.

“The Kelowna RCMP has recently received updated photographs of the unidentified rider,” says Cpl. Allison Konsmo Media Relations with the Kelowna RCMP. “Anyone who can identify or has any information regarding the identity of the rider, is requested to contact the Kelowna RCMP and reference file number 2025-18072.”
