Expect more bikes around Penticton for Go by Bike Week

With Spring GoByBike Week starting tomorrow, followed by a jam-packed week of outdoor events and activities, the City is reminding residents to expect extra pedal and foot traffic throughout the community.

Residents are invited to take part in Spring GoByBike Week, running from May 31 to June 7, 2025, which features daily celebration stations and the chance to win prizes. The City will be hosting the following two stations:

  • Tuesday, June 3 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Rotary Park: Check your bike in to the free valet service to receive a lunch ticket.
  • Thursday, June 5 from 7:30-9 a.m. on the Lake to Lake Route, behind the Penticton Museum & Public Library: Start your day with coffee, tea and snacks.

Additional celebration stations will be hosted by community partners throughout the week. Visit gobybikebc.ca/penticton for a full schedule.

GoByBike Week is an event intended to encourage British Columbians to ride their bikes as much as possible to work, school, for exercise and for fun. Residents are encouraged to register and log their rides at gobybikebc.ca for the chance to win grand prizes.
