Payton and Dillion Budd Memorial Ride at Sutherland Bay Park

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Kelowna is inviting the community to come together for The Payton & Dillon Budd Memorial Ride – Ride Don’t Hide on Sunday, June 8th at Sutherland Bay Park.

This powerful community event raises funds and awareness for mental health programs and suicide prevention efforts in the Central Okanagan, ensuring no one has to face mental health challenges alone.

The Payton & Dillon Budd Memorial Ride – Ride Don’t Hide reminds us that connection, community, and compassion are key to mental health,” says CMHA Kelowna CEO, Mike Gawliuk. “This event brings people together to break the silence around mental health and raises critical funds for the services that support our community year-round.”

Each year, hundreds of local riders and striders gather for The Payton & Dillon Budd Memorial Ride – Ride Don’t Hide to spark conversations around mental health, inviting participants to share their stories, and signals of hope for a mentally healthy community through the support of CMHA Kelowna.

This year’s event expects 500+ community members riding or striding in support of mental health initiatives.

Participants can register as individuals or form teams, and choose from five different ride options, including: 100km Ride50km Ride25km Ride9km Ride6km Stride (walking or running).

These options provide fun, family-friendly routes or longer scenic challenges. Whether you’re riding in honour or support of a loved one, or for your own mental health journey – your participation matters.

All funds raised directly impact our community, supporting CMHA Kelowna’s mental health programs, services & supports for youth, families, and individuals facing mental health challenges.
