Come join the Ellison Fire Department for a day filled with free family fun at their annual open house on June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy delicious smokies cooked by the firefighters and pony rides from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Residents will have the opportunity to explore fire trucks and learn about emergency preparedness and fire prevention at information booths hosted by BC Ambulance, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue and RCMP. Plus, don’t miss the chance to learn about fire safety with our new fire extinguisher trainer! Discover how to use an extinguisher and keep your home safe.

The Ellison Fire Department, established in 1979, supports over 2,700 residents across an 82 square kilometre fire protection area with its 23 dedicated staff members.
