September 29, 2025, has been identified as the transition date of the Vintage Views Wastewater and Lakeshore Waterworks utilities from the current owner to the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS). The Regional District has been working with the owner to develop a transition plan, which includes transferring permits, licenses, and documentation.
During the transition period, the RDOS will be conducting further assessments of both utilities, including the systems, facilities, and operations. A subsequent plan will be developed to integrate the utilities into RDOS operations. No service changes are anticipated during the transition period. Billing rates and timelines are still being determined. More information will be published as it becomes available and a mail-out will be sent to residents and property owners in mid-September 2025.
