Free information session on “Raising Digitally Responsible Youth”

On Monday, June 16, the City of Kelowna, in partnership with the Central Okanagan School District’s Welcome Centre, invites all parents and guardians to attend the next event in a series of free parenting information sessions on key community safety topics and what you need to know to help keep your kids safe.
The topic of this upcoming information session is “Raising Digitally Responsible Youth,” where a City Community Safety Advisor will build awareness and answer questions on safety issues such as:
  • understanding the difference between real friends versus risky internet relationships
  • the growing threat of online luring and grooming
Date: Monday – June 16, 2025
Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Springvalley Elementary School – 350 Ziprick Road (Kelowna)
This information session will be presented in English and is open to everyone.
