Info session to address questions related to Parks Bylaw and temporary overnight sheltering in Penticton

Members of the public are invited to attend an online information session on Wednesday to address any remaining questions they may have related to Penticton’s updated Parks Bylaw and temporary overnight sheltering.

This will be a live presentation, followed by a Q&A format in which City staff will address questions flagged from the public during the session. Residents are also invited to submit their questions in advance by emailing them to [email protected].

The presentation will be recorded and posted to the City’s website for the public to view. If there is high demand for this session, the City will hold a second event in the coming weeks.

The bylaw provides new rules involving temporary overnight sheltering in parks and public spaces, including the locations where overnight sheltering is not allowed. Details about this update, including an FAQ, are available to view online at penticton.ca/homeless.
