Police locate stolen Subaru from Vernon

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is pleased to report the 2018 Subaru Outback stolen earlier this month has been recovered. Police issued a public request for help locating the vehicle, and thanks to information received, the car has now been recovered. “We really appreciate and want to thank the public and our media partners for their help,” states Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in an ongoing investigation. Sometime during the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 5th, the vehicle, a blue 2018 Subaru Outback, was stolen from a residence on 33rd Street. The vehicle is connected to some recent criminal activity in the Vernon area and has not yet been located.

We’re asking the public to keep an eye out for the vehicle in the pictures, states Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP.  “It may still be driving around but there’s a very good chance it has been parked or left abandoned somewhere.”
