Fortis BC says 3,005 customers have been without power since 3:37pm
The outage area stretches from Dilworth Mountain towards Glenmore and Union Road.
A good majority of Sexsmith road is also without power.
Fortis says the outage is under investigation and estimate power will be returned sometime after 6pm.
