Comedian and actor Tom Green will host the 2025 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards.
The event will be broadcast live from Prospera Place on September 13 to cap off a week of events in the city for Canadian Country Music Week.
The multi-day celebration will bring fans, artists, and industry professionals to Kelowna.
The CCMA Awards will feature a lineup of country music’s top performers and presenters, with details to be announced soon.
Green, known for his bold comedic style, said he’s honored to take on the role, adding that country music played a big part in his upbringing.
Green said he’s looking forward to bringing “a few surprises” to the gala.
Green presides over the bash while pursuing multiple CanCon projects since returning to Canada after decades spent in Los Angeles.
That includes the upcoming Crave interview series, “Tom Green’s Funny Farm,” in which he hosts a variety of guests at his rural Ontario property.
