Kelowna RCMP responded to a vehicle hit and run and assault in the 1900 block of Enterprise Way just before 1:00pm this afternoon (Friday, July 4th).
One individual has been arrested and police are asking the public to stay out of the area if possible. There is no danger to public safety.
As part of the Kelowna RCMP’s investigation into today’s hit and run and assault, police also closed down Glenmore Road in both directions between Shanks Road and Janet Road in Lake Country.
The arrest of the suspect took place in this area and the RCMP is conducting a portion of their investigation.
The road has been re opened.
