More details are being shared about a pair of BC Lions home games scheduled for June and July 2026 at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna.
The Canadian Football League team will play in Kelowna because BC Place in Vancouver will be unavailable during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
CFL commissioner Stewart Johnston, Kelowna Mayor Tom Dyas, Lions president Duane Vienneau, quarterback Nathan Rourke and other City of Kelowna representatives were in attendance at this mornings announcement from the Kelowna Yacht Club.

The Touchdown Kelowna events are anticipated to bring $60 million in economic impact for the City of Kelowna and its businesses.
It all begins against the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday, June 27, followed by a matchup with the Edmonton Elks on Saturday, July 4.
Kickoff for these games in weeks four and five is at 4 pm at the expanded Save-On-Foods Field at the Apple Bowl.
The entire 2026 CFL schedule will be released on Dec. 9.
More details on the celebrations will be unveiled early in 2026.
Tickets for the two games are available to the general public on Thurs., Feb. 19.
