Fezziwig’s Bakery Café in the Mission Park Shopping Centre is celebrating their 20th anniversary on Friday, March 6th, 2026.  Owned and operated by Colin and Ann Broomfield, Mission Park Fezziwig’s is their original location. They opened the second location in 2013 in the Guisachan Village Centre on Gordon Drive.  Fezziwig’s is open 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and offers breakfast and lunch. Fezziwig’s offer a large variety of sandwiches on their fresh daily baked bread. That is the reasons their sandwiches taste so good. They also have a good variety of fresh salads, with their own house-made lemon cream dressing. All the restaurant’s ingredients are purchased locally. The soups and casseroles are packed with flavour and, of course, they offer a huge variety of delicious baked goods. Fezziwig’s offers a large variety of sandwiches, gluten free wraps and gluten free soups. For lunch try their quiche, shepherd’s pie, lasagna or five cheese macaroni. Fezziwig’s offer catering for a business or group lunch with delivery or pick-up. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Fezziwig’s is offering a 12 oz. cup of regular coffee for only 25 cents at both their locations, on Friday, March 6th.  This was the price of coffee when Colin and Ann immigrated to Canada in 1967. Today, their coffee is $2.60 per cup. They will be serving cake while it lasts. Angela Petrich is the Manager of Fezziwig’s in Mission Park.  fezziwigs.ca

A new BNI Chapter is launching in Kelowna, led by three founding applicants, Clifford May, Realty One Kelowna, Elisha Besinger, Mortgage Architects and Marie Wood, Vista Financial Group – Raymond James. Their vision is to bring together strong, licensed professionals who believe in doing business face-to-face, building trust, and inspiring a culture to help one another better the community. They are intentionally creating a room filled with business owners who want to lead in their industries while actively contributing to the growth of others. Kelowna has been a city built on relationships and is growing quickly, but its strength still comes from small business owners who collaborate rather than compete. This chapter is about positioning local professionals to support one another and collectively raise the standard of service in the community.
