The natural gas issue for customers in Lake Country and nearby areas is back to normal.
Fortis BC says service has been restored to majority of customers who lost their natural gas last week. Technicians have visited every property and either restored service or left a tag on the door with instructions for customers to request a return visit, according to Fortis BC.
The outage initially impacted about 6,200 customers in Lake Country, North Kelowna and the Okanagan Indian Band.
Approximately 60 staff aided the restoration effort, including crews brought in from places like Vancouver Island and Prince George.
No information has been provided on the cause of the natural gas outage.
