The City of Kelowna and RCMP are hoping to identify who is responsible for $15,000 in damage to several agricultural water meters in Southeast Kelowna
It is said between April 8 and 9, the meters were deliberately damaged at multiple locations. The meters, used for Utility and farming irrigation, were housed in boxes near property boundaries.
The vandalism is said to have caused extensive damage, including pipe ruptures.
The City says Utility staff are working to identify all affected properties and have begun replacing the meters to maintain continuous water supply.
Anyone with information related to the vandalism is asked to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers.
