Kelowna, B.C. — Porter Airlines officially launched new non-stop service between Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and Ottawa International Airport (YOW), marking the only direct route connecting the two cities.
The service began today (May 13) with five weekly roundtrip flights. The frequency will increase to six per week in June.
The Ottawa service is Porter’s second route from Kelowna with existing flights to Toronto. The airline also operates in Vancouver and Victoria, as it continues expanding its presence in British Columbia.
Flights operate on Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
