KELOWNA, B.C. — Okanagan College (OC) announced it is launching a new program aimed at making post-secondary courses more accessible to a broader range of learners across the region.
The college says Open Studies will allow people to enrol in individual credit courses without committing to a full certificate, diploma or degree program.
Registration is now open for Fall 2026, with the first round of courses becoming available to the public after previously being limited to students enrolled in full programs.
Students in Open Studies can take up to two courses per term, with credits recorded on official transcripts and eligible for transfer to other post-secondary institutions.
OC says the program is currently open only to domestic students. A virtual information session is scheduled for June 18.
Registration details and course listings are available through the college’s website.
