Portion of West Kelowna’s Boucherie road to close for annual summer cleanup

WEST KELOWNA — A section of Boucherie Road will be temporarily closed as the City of West Kelowna completes seasonal maintenance along its popular Wine Route.

The closure is scheduled for Thursday, June 11 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., affecting Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart roads.

City crews are expected to install flower baskets, adjust irrigation systems and perform routine landscaping tasks.

Emergency vehicles, transit and nearby residents will continue to have access during the work period, but drivers are being advised to use Highway 97 and Hudson Road as alternate routes.

The city says the work is being completed to prepare the area for increased summer traffic and activity along the Wine Route.
