RDCO removes water quality advisory for Falcon Ridge water system

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) says after consulting with Interior Health, a water quality advisory has been rescinded for customers on the Falcon Ridge water system. Bacterial testing and disinfection levels are now within normal drinking water standards in the distribution system.

The Water Quality Advisory was issued by the RDCO on March 26, 2026, due to increased turbidity in the source water caused by spring runoff from melting snow, known as freshet.

Residents may resume normal water use according to current watering restrictions.
