Update Sept 24:
Tracy Gray’s pursuit to be the BC Conservative candidate in Kelowna -Lake Country-Coldstream riding was short-lived. Hours after announcing her intentions of seeking Conservative endorsement the party announced Wednesday evening that Pavneet Singh will be its candidate in that riding . Singh is currently the Vice President of the BC Conservative Party.
Singh was prepared to run as a BC United candidate in the 2024 provincial election but chose to drop out once the BC United party folded. Independent MLA Tara Armstrong currently holds the seat in the riding after being elected as a Conservative in 2024.
The provincial election is set for Oct 24th.
