A Kelowna man who pleaded guilty to indecent exposure last year will be spending one more day in jail.
Joseph Perkins was initially arrested at a West Kelowna swimming pool last February after pool staff reported that he had been "pleasuring himself" in front of an underage boy.
After pleading guilty to the offense, Perkins was sentenced to 162 days in jail, with credit for 243 days. Judge Ellen Burdett has ordered him to spend one more day in jail.
Perkins will also be on probation for 3 years, and will be prohibited from going near any swimming pools, playgrounds, or school grounds for 10 years.
Perkins has a lengthy record of similar offenses, many of which involve indecent exposure.
