With more smoke blowing into the Central Okanagan overnight, Environment Canada's Air Quality Health Index is currently sitting at a 7.
That ranks the quality of the air as "high risk", on the scale where 1 is the best, and 10 and up is the worst.
As far as the next few days, Environment Canada says it's expecting things to get slightly better, with the air quality becoming a "moderate risk" by tomorrow.
That would carry a rank of 5 out of 10.
The agency says if the city is at an immediate health risk, it'll issue an air quality alert.
Currently, the advisory on air quality is only at the level of a special statement.
Up in Whistler, air quality is so poor that the ranking has been increased to a 9 out of 10.
