Landmark number 7 will be a new, 23 story office tower added to the Landmark cluster along Highway 97 across from the Parkinson Rec Center.
Dallas Gray speaks for Al Stober Construction. He says they'll have no problem leasing the space. Many Vancouver companies are wanting to move or expand to Kelowna.
Gray says, "Professional services, certainly the tech industry. As we know the tech industry in Kelowna is exploding. It's a cost of doing business thing and a quality of lifestyle thing. Who wouldn't want to live in Kelowna?"
Landmark 7 will be completed by the spring of 2022. With seven towers of commercial space, Gray estimates the workforce at Landmark District will be roughly 5000 people per day.
Among tower 7's amenities will be retail shops and restaurants at street level, a state of the art fitness center, electric car charging, bike lockers and a rideshare program.
