Kelowna RCMP are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery earlier this week.
Around 4:15 PM on Tuesday, July 31st, an employee of a food truck parked at Gyro Beach reported a man who lunged towards the trailer's entrance and demanded money while threatening the employee with a hunting knife.
After being locked out of the truck, the suspect grabbed the food truck's tip cup, as well as the employee's longboard, before fleeing towards Watt Road and later heading north.
He's described as 30 years old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, with short hair, a scruffy beard, two missing front upper teeth, and a dark tattoo on his left shoulder. He was wearing black cut-off shorts, dirty white running shoes, and no shirt.
The employee of the food truck was not harmed during the incident.
