Vernon North Okanagan – RCMP are searching for an armed suspect following an early evening robbery in Vernon.
On November 28th, 2017 at 8:30 pm, the Vernon RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery that had occurred at the Shell Gas Station located on Okanagan Landing Road. Police have learned that the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the employee. The suspect produced what is believed to be a firearm during the robbery, and then fled on foot. Efforts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful at this time.
The suspect is described as:
· Caucasian male;
· 30 – 40 yrs;
· Wearing all black clothing with a black mask concealing his face.
The employee was not physically injured during the incident.
The RCMP continue to investigate and seek the public’s assistance in identifying their suspect.
