Nearly four and a half years after Theresa Neville's murder, investigators have hit a breakthrough.
Kelowna RCMP have arrested 61-year-old Jay Sinclaire Thomson and charged him with second degree murder.
Back on June 18 2013, police were called to a home on Yates Road in Glenmore, and found the then-27-year-old's body inside, along with her two children who had not been harmed.
About a week after the homicide, RCMP released a composite sketch of an unknown Aboriginal man who had reportedly been seen in the area.
But last summer, police determined that information wasn't valid, and said they believed it wasn't a random attack.
Thomson will stay in jail while he waits to appear in court.
