Police have made three arrests, after a fire apparently started with an explosion in Rutland last night.
Firefighters were paged to the scene just before 11 pm, where witnesses reported five or six teenagers walking away from the Rutland Community Centre, just before hearing a loud bang.
Using witness reports and video surveillance, police identified and arrested three teenagers, and say charges may be coming against one.
20 firefighters responded to the scene, and found flames crawling up the back of the Community Centre and onto the roof.
The fire was quickly extinguished, though there is structural damage to the roof as a result.
Fortunately, no one was inside the impacted Kelowna Seniors Activity Centre at the time.
