A short ride by a group of ATV'ers near Summerland turned into a rescue mission over the weekend.
Penticton Search and Rescue was called in by the RCMP - at around midnight Saturday - to look for 4 riders who failed to return to their group after an afternoon ride.
At around 5:00 Sunday morning - the Pensar Team located the disoriented group and guided them back out.
Search Manager Richard Terry says they knew where the group was - but it took time reaching them, because the trails in the area are like a spider web.
He says the riders were a bit cold and tired - but no-one was hurt.
