Police are investigating after a man was threatened and robbed while walking down the street early Sunday morning, on Lawson Avenue near Richmond Street.
Just after 2 am, the victim was approached by two men, who took out a machete and demanded the victim give them the duffle bag and bag of groceries he was carrying.
Four of the six chef's knives that were inside the duffle bag were found the next day, along with pieces of ID, in a nearby yard.
Both suspects were described as white men, who were close to 5 foot seven and 170 pounds.
The suspect with the machete had a tattoo, possibly a tear drop, on the left side of his face.
West Kelowna police are looking for a woman who's accused of defrauding a money lender.
A few weeks ago, the company called police to report that the woman had used a false ID on a loan application, which the RCMP determined had been stolen from inside a vehicle in Alberta back in February.
Police have released surveillance photos of two suspects who they believe are travelling around and committing these frauds together.
Kelowna RCMP are hoping potential witnesses might have information on a break and enter that happened a couple of Tuesdays ago.
On March 20, police responded to an alarm at Sergeant Prepper's Army Surplus at about 3:40 am, and found a mix of broken glass and clothing on the sidewalk.
Inside, display cases had been smashed, and multiple items stolen, including a couple of camo backpacks, bayonets, and knives.
Both suspects were wearing backpacks, black pants, and hoodies at the time.
