BC's tree fruit growers have until the end of January to apply for replant funding.
The province's high-value fruit, like honeycrisp, ambrosia and pink lady apples - as well as late-season cherries - are in high demand, both locally and around the world.
The replant program helps growers replace their orchard's trees with these popular varieties.
In 2017, BC produced 137,600 tons of tree fruit - a third of Canadian production - creating nearly $160-million in farm cash receipts.
